LDV Oil & Gas Consulting provides tailored product marketing plans designed to meet each Independent Producers needs in the increasingly volatile and complex energy markets. The volatility in the crude and gas markets today demand active management by marketing experts. At LDV, we utilize the power of our product aggregation as well as our long-standing industry relationships to deliver outsized and consistent results for our clients.

Mr. Vendig is a second generation oil & gas professional with two generations of global relationships in the industry. Mr. Vendig has relationships with producers and refineries around the world which he uses effectively to produce outsized results for his clients. He manages all aspects of LDV’s daily operations, marketing and customer and partner relationships.
 
Mr. Vendig graduated Cum Laude from Millsaps College with a B.A. in English in 1993. He then attended the University of Tulsa College of Law where his studies focused in the areas of Oil & Gas and Environmental Law. In two years, he received a Resources, Energy and Environmental Law degree and certificate of recognition from the National Energy Environmental Law and Policy Institute. Mr. Vendig finished law school at Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law. While finishing his studies he interned with the Environmental Protection Agency in the Superfund litigation department.

Mr. Vendig is board certified by the Texas Supreme Court in 1997.  He practiced oil and gas law and has been involved in the industry for more than 18 years.

Founding Partner of NEP is also the Chairman and CEO for Refinery Calculator Inc, a global refining operations and technology software service company and Oates Energy Solutions LLC, a US based all things energy, refining, chemicals and industrial gases services company.

Mr. Oates serves as a C-Suite Executive, Independent Public Board Director and inventor with two decades of experience serving in various roles at global Fortune 250, private equity and venture capital companies.

He is adept at starting up and then scaling up technology  centered businesses and improving both profitability and growth.  His broad-based expertise includes strategic planning, corporate finance, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, continuous improvement, product development, procurement, sales, M&A valuation and integration, fiduciary oversight and ESG governance.  He is dedicated to building relationships and providing support to stakeholders, senior executive teams and boards of directors.

Mr. Oates holds a MBA from Tulane University, MS in Mechanical Engineering, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Miami.

Managing Partner of NEP is also the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Nirvana Holdings, LLC, a private diversified holding company with operating companies in real estate investment, energy services and asset management. He is also the Managing Partner of Hycroft Nirvana Capital (HNC), a private equity firm focused on commercial real estate investments in the US. 

Mr. Sabanayagam is a former Bain & Company consultant and co-founded Trident Partners in August 1999. Trident Partners, a middle market private equity firm, invested in technology and manufacturing companies. Mr. Sabanayagam also served as the Chairman and CEO of TSI Holdings, Inc., a Trident Partners portfolio company, for over 16 years. As its CEO, Mr. Sabanayagam returned a 7.2 MOIC to his investors. More recently, he architected and completed the acquisition of Resolve Tech Solutions (RTS), a technology services company focused on Federal, regulated and commercial sectors. As RTS’ CEO, Mr. Sabanayagam grew the company’s revenues from $79M to $144M in less than 24 months. Mr. Sabanayagam is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in Virginia. Prior to business school, Mr. Sabanayagam worked for the engineering multinational, Parsons Corporation, in Washington, DC.

Mr. Sabanayagam holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Salford in the U.K. and an MBA with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Founding Partner of NEP started his career as a Telecommunications Analyst with Procter & Gamble Venezuela. He then transitioned into marketing roles in the different consumer products business units of Warner Lambert. There, he took progressively more senior responsibilities managing major brands and launching new products in the Venezuelan market. Mr. Perez joined Bain & Company as a consultant assisting Fortune 100 companies in the U.S. and Mexico in managing strategic and operational challenges in industries such as automotive, telecommunications and retail. He was recruited by Russell Reynolds Associates to conduct executive level searches for different technology clients in the US. In 2001, he was charged with opening and managing the firm’s office in Miami in order to continue expanding the company’s business across all industries in Latin America.

Mr. Perez is founder and Managing Director of International Executive Recruiting Group (IERG). With over 25 years of executive recruiting experience, he is adept at understanding clients’ needs for key executives and identifying talented individuals capable of thriving in corporate environments within different cultures in emerging markets.

Most recently, Mr. Perez expanded IERG’s scope of work to include outsourced payroll services, independent contractor payment services and employer of record  services (EOR). Over the last 17 years, he has fulfilled his clients’ needs for these services in Australia, Chile, China, Colombia, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela tackling the intricate labor laws and regulations of many countries.
 
Mr. Perez holds a B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering with a telecommunications focus from Universidad Simón Bolívar, in Caracas, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
